Routes

Here are the 2015 Tour de Palm Springs routes. Designed specifically with various distances and levels of difficulty in mind, so that everyone can be involved.

NOTE: All routes are subject to last minute change for the safety of the rider.

Please pick up your registration packets at the Registration booth.  Registration will be open Friday, 02/13/15 between noon and 8 p.m. and 02/14/15 after 6 a.m.  All preregistered riders will receive a t-shirt and map with registration packet.

Routes are as follow:

1.5 or 3 Mile – Walk to the Stars (1 Mile bailout available)

5 Mile – Ride to the Stars

Begins at 11:00 am. This route travels through the slightly hilly Las Palmas area of Palm Springs and a small slice of the Movie Colony East area to the SAG stop at Ruth Hardy Park.

10 Mile – Old Palm Springs

Begins at 11:00 am. This route is the same as last year’s 10 mile route. 1 SAG stop provides snacks, first aid, bike support and accommodations at Palm Springs Mall.

25 Mile – Ride Through The Towns

(25.2 miles) – Begins at 10:30 am. This year’s 25 Mile tour goes through Palm Springs, Cathedral City & Rancho Mirage. Enjoy the beauty of each city!

50 Mile – Desert Scape Ride

(54.6 miles) – Begins at 9:00 am for experienced and team riders and 8:30 am for the more leisurely rider. The route travels from Palm Springs near the foothills of the San Bernardino mountain range along with the 100 mile route for approximately 30 miles then turns back to civilization. 3 SAG stops provide food, first aid, bike support and accommodations.

100 Mile – Escape the City Lights Ride

(101.5 mile) – Begins at 6:30 am for experienced and team riders and 7:00 am for the more leisurely rider. The route travels from Palm Springs near the windmills and foothills of the San Bernardino mountain range. Continuing down Dillon Road to the agriculture area of the Coachella Valley, the route travels near PGA West, around the La Quinta Cove past the Indian Well Tennis Garden, through Rancho Mirage and back to Palm Springs. 5 SAG stops provide food, first aid, bike support and accommodations.
