2016 ROUTES (APPROVED)

NOTE: All routes are subject to last minute change for the safety of the rider.

Please pick up your registration packets at the Registration booth.  Registration will be open Friday, 01/22/16 between noon and 8 p.m. and 01/23/16 after 6 a.m.  All preregistered riders will receive a t-shirt and map with registration packet.

Registration will be located on North Palm Canyon between Tahquitz & Andreas.

Routes are as follow:

1.5 or 3 Mile – 2 Mile bailout available

5 Mile – Ride to the Stars – ELIMINATED

 

10 Mile – Palm Springs

The 10 mile route begins at 10:00 am; there is no SAG.

25 Mile – Ride Through The Towns

The 25 mile route begins at 9:00 am. This year’s 25 Mile tour goes through Palm Springs, Cathedral City & Palm Desert. Enjoy the beauty of each city! There will be a SAG at Lowe’s which is located at the intersection of Gerald Ford & Monterey.

50 Mile – Desert Scape Ride

The 50 mile route begins at 8:00 am for all riders. The route travels from Palm Springs to Thousand Palms, Indio, Bermuda Dunes, Palm Desert & Cathedral City.  There will be two SAG stops along the route; lunch will be served at the Fresh & Easy SAG location.

100 Mile – Escape the City Lights Ride

The 100 mile route begins at 6:30 am for experienced and team riders and 7:00 am for the more leisurely rider. The route travels from Palm Springs near the windmills and foothills of the San Bernardino mountain range. Continuing down Dillon Road to the agriculture area of the Coachella Valley, the route travels near PGA West, around the La Quinta Cove past the Indian Well Tennis Garden, through Palm Desert and back to Palm Springs. Several SAG stops provide food, first aid, bike support and accommodations. Lunch (sandwiches) will be served at the Western Golf Car, Travel Center, & Lake Cahuilla.  The SAG at Toro Canyon Middle School will be a mini SAG.
